More street art

More street art.  I am a little obsessed with it lately. I love all the different styles: tags, stencils, posters and pieces.  I would love to do some stencils myself.  Its on my ever growing 'to do list'.

I found these in and around the lane ways of Fitzroy. I also visited the lovely Rose street market.  My love bought me a beautiful Japanese print from 1830.  It has gone into the 'to be framed' pile....  so sad.

I wish i had the money to develop my rolls of film, or the time to edit my digital photos.... sigh.  There is always next week.  I am really feeling the pressure of life being so busy, i wish i could take a break from the things i have to do and spend weeks doing all the things i want to do.  Or maybe i just need a better work-life-uni balance...  Working on that next week too..  hehe

My Mum always said 'do not put off til tomorrow what you could do today'.  I should start taking her advice.

Wow.  What a huge random post this has turned out to be... I will be away for a few days.  Tomorrow i am taking a 9 hour train ride to rural New South Wales to be with a dear friend.

Love. Love. a

f ur blog

My love is a huge graffiti fan. Sometimes we randomly do a little walk along the train line to look at the new pieces. This one caught my eye....

Fuck ur blog!!!

Excuse me?  My blog? My little cosrard and pen pen?

I could not stop laughing.

I think my love could understand completely.

Me..... Obsessed with my blog....? Never!

Are we bloggers really that annoying?

I must admit i talk about my little slice of the internet a lot...

Oh well this is my outlet, my space and i love it.

So, this is all i have to say to you Mr blog hater - fuck ur graffiti.

Ahhhhh feels good to get that out.

xx a

p.s sorry about the multiple pics of the one shot. i love editing and i couldn't choose just one.  so many wonderful options.  i think i like the first one the most... or the last one...

Is the f word too much? personally i don't mind it.

beyond wonderful

Today is a wonderful day.

My assessments are submitted, semester 1 is officially over and i could not be happier.  I honestly thought i was going to fail this semester.  I struggled to keep the work, life, uni balance.  Next semester I will keep on top of it... (i say that every semester, fingers crossed it happens this time).

My sad Polaroid camera story has a happy ending... My dearest, amazing, sweetest ma found hers from when i was a baby! I am so excited to be the proud owner of a Polaroid Land 1000.  Yay.  Impossible project here i come. Thank goodness ma has a slight hoarding problem.

So i mentioned that i was done with ebay... I lied.  I bought an amazing vintage print, for $15.75! Lets hope it arrives safely.  This is the last chance eBay, do me proud.

I got my good camera out yesterday, she was very happy to see the light of day.  My iPhone love is getting a bit tiresome.  She does a great job but its just not the same.

I have been editing.  I think sometimes i go a little far.  Oh well experimenting with these lovelies.  The sun was in the wrong position to get a great shot of the wall my love painted with his mates, but i took some anyway.  Heading back for proper photos tomorrow morning, nice and early to get the rising sun.

This is the best Monday ever.

xx a
