I also wanted to share this little quote he put on my site, it makes me realise how powerful we are a humans to help one another, to lend a hand and to just be kind:
"Most of us, swimming against the tides of trouble the world knows nothing about, need only a bit of praise or encouragement - and we will make the goal.
I mentioned in a previous post that i am hosting a Hope Month dinner to raise money for Hope Street, a charity that provides for the homeless and less fortunate. These are some words off there website:
We are committed to empowering people to take control of their own lives, not just giving handouts. We help them to build their independence and advocate for the rights that most Australians take for granted.
