grateful for... tea and strangers

i had to post this beautiful shot. i found it here

This week has been long, and rather draining.  Early morning, late nights and restless sleeps.  I have one assignment in the drafting process, so very excited.  And lets not talk about the other on.  I have to keep giving myself peep talks to keep the motivation.

Today i am grateful for:

- Wonderful Australian bands that don't cost me an arm and a leg to see live at a great little venue 20 minutes from my house.  The Jezabels were amazing.  I have been listening to them all day to try and take myself back to last night.....

- lalaland 'Strawberries and Champagne' black tea.  It is yummy.  And the box is super cute.  And its helping me to stay smoke free. Every time i feel like a cigarette i am brewing up a batch, seems to be working nicely and it is way better for my waistline than all the other things i want to eat.

- The cheery lady that was in front of me at the check out today.  You were loud, and asked me heaps of questions, and your wool was all kinds of fluro.  I like random conversations with strangers, it made my  waiting in the queue at the craft shop so much more interesting.

how adorable! found here

16 days, go you! You should also be grateful to your willpower, for making such a fantastic effort. Glad you've found a good (and extra yummy sounding) replacement to keep your mind, hands and mouth busy

So clever of you to substitute 'something new' for cigarettes. I think that's a great way to get through the cravings. I found giving up smoking to be the hardest thing I ever did, even though being pregnant at the time meant that I just did not go there. It's all in the mind where the battle is fought! Good luck! x
