I went to the Salvador Dali exhibition when it was in Melbourne. These pics brought back nice memories of seeing his amazing art.

I couldn't help putting the quote in... i just love them. They inspire me and motivate me to do lots of things.

These are the lovely finds from my Google image hunt. I love all these illustrations. I might have to do some more searches in the future. I like having a few images with a common theme. I think it may have to become a regular post.

Last night i came across the above wonderful illustration on pinterest, and of course it was pinned from a tumbler. Original source lost forever.

The detective in me went on a Google image search mission: colours, woman, birds, hair, illustration.

I didn't find the original source of the pretty illustration but i did find so many other beauties. I will share them later today.

I have marking to do..... yep i am still not finished.

My love is a huge graffiti fan. Sometimes we randomly do a little walk along the train line to look at the new pieces. This one caught my eye....

I have looked at this print a few times and skimmed over it... low attention span at the time maybe. Today with a heart looking for some inspiration, i see it differently. Today i get it. Today it means so much more. Today I am dreaming big. Today my world is full of possibilities.

I hope my today spills onto tomorrow, and the next day and the rest of forever.

horrible ebay

So i was just having a little look around pinterest and i found this lovely little blog - where the lovely things are.

On this blog are cute prints from the Tom Eckersley Archives which reminded me of my horrible ebay experience last week.

I don't use eBay much and now i am very reluctant.... I won/bought a Polaroid camera for my new instant photo needs and possible brewing obsession. It was $35 and it looked lovely. I paid. It arrived two days latter... SMASHED! So angry. One little layer of bubble wrap in a plastic, yes plastic satchel.

Apparently its not his problem , Australia post is to blame. And lodging a claim for damaged goods is not something i feel like doing. So i think it will go in the bin... So sad. Is it bad that i cant be bothered fighting for $35?? By no means am i wealthy, i would say i live month to month and $35 could be used for a few things, like dog food...

I just don't have the fight in me. No more ebay for me. Its over.

I think Tom Eckersley had a similar experience to me. His prints are so lovely.

not so happy monday

just needed to vent about my frustrations at life today
i got up early to get into my lesson for tomorrow and i had to clean up for ages because Penny had done a giant wee on the mat that went all the way through to the carpet and then Cosbe vomited twice!
Then i heard Penny in the wandering jew so i had to fix the temporary fence to keep them out
I finally got some of my lesson planned then my head started thumping...
Off to work i went
Head ache got pretty bad, the kind that makes you nauseous
So now i am at home .... with a massive headache
The computer screen is making it worse, think i might lay down for halfa.
Not a very productive day at all, i hate this feeling
I had the best intentions and it all turned to crap
I want my happy monday back
i really like this print, maybe a bird in my heart is what i need
