I have been celebrating a little too much the last two days. Today i have a heavy head, but it is ok because my assignments are done and uni is finished. Hooray for being lazy and not feeling guilty.

I snapped these lovely leaves on the way to work the other day.  I am so obsessed with fallen leaves at the moment, how i love the colours of autumn.

I adore all things floral, especially roses.

My shadows are almost nonexistent.... (sorry SSS people) it is so overcast and cloudy in Melbourne and i really wanted to join in this week with a new photo... not another archive one.

If you look really closely you can see a few baby shadows.

i have been rather busy this week, placement and work and homework and marking and lesson planning are taking over my life.

this weeks shadow shot is an oldie but how i adore it. it was my nephews 5th birthday and he desperately wanted to go to the beach... In August! It was freezing cold in the middle of winter but he had an amazing day.

i love these kinds of memories and it makes me so happy that i had my trusty little point and shoot around to capture it.

I was up really early studying last week.  The morning, rising sun was streaming in the kitchen window, how i love and adore lace.  I couldn't choose my favourite, so i am sharing two.  Hope everyone had a full belly of chocolate today x

i liked these when i took them, but not so sure anymore (i almost deleted this post).  The first one is a super close up of a rose leaf  with a blurred bird of paradise in the background, and the second one is a random house around the corner with the setting sunlight shining through the trees, little shadows this week.

day 4

a whole 4 days of not smoking

i am so proud of myself

today was a massive struggle (again)

i had a big fat greek lunch

so divine

pita, meat galore, chicken wings, roast potatoes, potato salad,
chicken rice,peppers, home made wine... then dessert.  

syrup soaked goodness and a cheesecake shop cheesecake!  

one of my all time favourite cigarette times is/was after a big meal

so i went outside and took a few photos of Mr Michael's wonderful veggie garden

hot peppers, sweet peppers, chilli death balls, tomatoes, corn

it was the most organised, well maintained crop i have ever seen

i will post them tomorrow or the next day 

and the craving sort of went away for a few minutes

photography is becoming a bit of an obsession

at least it is healthier than smoking
